A careful balance of efficiency, transparency and ease of way-finding in development of patron circulation, durability and sustainability of materials, and constructability within an active system are hallmarks of Architrave’s transit design. A focus for nearly 25 years, Architrave’s completed work includes a range of projects from multimodal terminals and in-line stations to rail and bus maintenance facilities and transit offices for local agencies including CTA, Metra, Amtrak and Pace.
Architrave completed an in-line station at Kostner on the Pink Line and multimodal terminals at 54th Cermak on the Pink Line and Howard on the Red Line. Design projects were also completed for in-line stations at 40th and Indiana, on the Green Line, and Wilson on the Red Line.
